Led by UK Deputy High Commissioner Caroline Rowett and Political, Press & Projects Adviser Rajinder S. Nagarkoti, the delegation discussed ongoing and potential collaborations across key sectors.

CM Sukhu expressed interest in leveraging the UK’s expertise in AgriTech, green hydrogen, electric vehicles, tourism, dairy, food processing, data storage, and water resource management for mutual growth.

A major highlight of the talks was the potential export of Himachal’s turmeric to the UK, with the Chief Minister showing keen interest in facilitating this trade link.

The  UK delegation underscored their investments in the state, including an agro-industry project in Kullu and a Scottish distillery’s Indian operations being set up in Himachal.

CM Sukhu directed officials to hold further meetings with the UK delegation to ensure seamless progress on the proposed collaborations.
