Batseri, and Kharogla in Sangla Valley are set for a major facelift as the Himachal Pradesh government rolls out a ₹5 crore tourism development project.

Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) Chairman Raghubir Singh Bali announced that the state is committed to enhancing tourism infrastructure in these remote villages, making them more accessible and attractive for visitors.

Under this project, pathways in these hamlets will be repaired, and essential amenities such as public toilets, wooden huts, watchman huts, and watchtowers will be constructed.

Additionally, a trolley-based trail will be developed, connecting Sangla to Sangla Kanda via Debar Kanda. Adventure tourism is also set to get a push, with plans to introduce new activities in the region.

Bali reiterated the government's commitment to boosting tourism in Himachal Pradesh, emphasizing that funding will not be a hurdle in developing essential infrastructure.

"The government is working systematically to develop tourism facilities across the state, ensuring that every region benefits from these initiatives," he said.

With this investment, Rakchham and its neighboring hamlets are expected to become even more appealing to travelers seeking nature, adventure, and cultural experiences in the stunning Sangla Valley.
