Breaking News | Rudraprayag Accident
DEHRADUN: A bus carrying 20 Char Dham pilgrims plunged into a deep gorge near Gholtir in Rudraprayag, triggering panic in the area.
All passengers were reportedly from Rajasthan and Gujarat.
SDRF and local residents immediately launched a rescue operation.
As per initial reports, 6 people have been confirmed dead, while 14 others are seriously injured.
All injured have been rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, but brake failure is suspected.
Authorities have issued a helpline number and urged families of the victims to get in touch.
