BloodDonationCampAtBaragarh

Baragarh/Manali:

A  blood donation camp organised in memory of late Anil Khullar on his first death anniversary witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 100 units of blood collected at Baragarh Resort & Spa.

The camp was inaugurated by Smt. Sarita Khullar, mother of hotelier Nakul Khullar, who formally opened the event as a tribute to her late husband Sh. Anil Khullar.

The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, institutions, and organisations, turning the memorial event into a  message of social responsibility.

Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ranjit Singh, Block Medical Officer Dr. Karan, DSP K.D. Sharma, BDO Mukesh, Principal Narantak Sharma, and General Manager of Baragarh Resort & Spa Ranjeet Singh were among the prominent officials present on the occasion.

Several organisations extended their support, including Rotary International, local NGOs, villagers from Panuche, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Army personnel, and members of the Truck Union, all of whom actively participated in the blood donation drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Nakul Khullar said the camp was a heartfelt effort to keep alive the values and spirit of service that late Anil Khullar stood for.

Medical teams appreciated the strong community response, noting that such voluntary donations play a crucial role in saving lives, especially in hill regions where blood availability often becomes a challenge.

The camp concluded with a message urging people to make blood donation a regular habit and continue contributing to society through meaningful actions.
