New Delhi, May 23: A writ petition filed by the United Doctors Front against the Ministry of Education and other agencies is likely to come up for hearing on May 25, 2026, in connection with issues related to medical education, examinations, admissions and institutional governance.

The petition, registered as W.P.(C) No. 000668/2026 under the title United Doctors Front [UDF] Regd. vs. Ministry of Education, has also named the National Testing Agency and the Central Bureau of Investigation as respondents.

According to the case status, the matter was initially filed under Diary No. 30471/2026 on May 15, registered on May 20 and verified on May 22. The case is presently listed under Motion Hearing – Fresh for Admission – Civil Cases and remains pending before the court.

UDF said the petition has been filed in the larger interest of medical students, doctors and aspirants, seeking transparency, accountability and fairness in matters linked to examinations and medical education management.

UDF Chairperson Dr. Lakshya Mittal said the organisation would continue to raise genuine concerns of doctors and students through lawful and constitutional means.

He added that UDF had full faith in the judicial process and would place all relevant facts before the court.
