WOMEN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT 2025
“The Boardroom Just Got Bolder”
CHANDIGARH: Women show up, change shows up with them. Over 200 women professionals, entrepreneurs, and policy leaders gathered at the Women Leadership Summit 2025, hosted by CII’s Indian Women Network (IWN) in Chandigarh.
The theme—“Redefining Boundaries: From Barriers to Breakthroughs”—wasn’t just talk. It was a loud and clear declaration of intent.
“Leadership isn’t about gender anymore—it’s about vision,” said Ritika Singh, Chairwoman of IWN Tricity and Founder of Kontent Factory, as she welcomed the crowd. “This isn’t just a celebration—it’s a call to action.”
That spirit of shared uplift echoed across the day. “We need to lift together, not just rise alone,” said Dr. Reetinder Mohan, former chair and industry adviser, calling for collaborative ecosystems and deeper support structures.
The corporate case for inclusion came in sharp and clear. “Empowering women is smart strategy, not charity,” said Taranjeet Bhamra, CII Chandigarh UT Chairman and Founder of Agnext.
“Inclusion drives innovation—it’s a business must-have, not a checkbox.”
Things got personal and purposeful during the fireside chat. “Innovation with empathy?
That’s the sweet spot,” said Shaily Mehrotra, Founder & CEO of Fixderma, as she shared how her brand fused science, social responsibility, and skin care.
From purpose to legacy, the summit didn’t hold back.
“We’re not just inheriting legacies—we’re reimagining them,” said Trisha Rajani Vaidya, angel investor and ex-COO of Dr. Vaidya’s.
“Today’s business world needs speed, authenticity, and heart.”
Glass ceilings were addressed head-on in a power-packed panel moderated by Rajiv Gupta, Founder of Reverentia.
“Women powered Indian businesses from behind the curtain for decades.
Now? They’re leading from the front,” he said, stressing how programs like Owners & Promoters are helping women scale legacy with impact.
Tech, education, and sustainability came into focus in Panel 2, moderated by Anupam Gakhar.
Women from these emerging industries shared how they’re not just adapting to change—they’re leading it, reshaping systems from the inside out.
As the sun set on a packed summit day, Co-chair Sakshi Katyal kept it real.
“Time to stop clapping and start acting,” she said. With that, the conversations moved to a buzzing networking dinner, where handshakes turned into action plans, and breakthroughs promised to become business norms.
This wasn’t just another summit. It was a shift in the leadership landscape.
And if the energy in the room was any proof, the future of leadership isn’t female—it’s fearless.
