India Dominates South Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship with 13 Gold Medals
Kathmandu, Nepal – April 27, 2025:
India stamped its authority at the South Asian Table Tennis Youth Championship 2025, held in Kathmandu from April 24 to 27, sweeping 17 medals — 13 Gold, 3 Silver, and 1 Bronze.
Led by Team Manager Adhish Rana, the 16-member Indian squad, supported by 4 coaches and 2 support staff, delivered a commanding performance that lit up the tournament. Their grit, teamwork, and sharp skills propelled India to the top, marking a new high for youth table tennis in the country.
India clinched Gold medals across major categories, including Under-19 Boys' Singles, Under-19 Girls' Singles, Under-19 Boys' Doubles, Under-19 Girls' Doubles, Under-19 Mixed Doubles, and the Under-19 Team events. In the Under-15 category, India also swept Gold in Boys' Singles, Girls' Singles, Boys' Doubles, Girls' Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and both team events.
