Manali in monsoons

The Aut-Banjar-Jalori Pass-Anni-Luhri route connecting Rampur is also clear, as well as the Bhuntar-Manikaran road.

The Mandi-Kaman-IIT Mandi-Katola-Kullu road has also been reopened today, according to Kullu’s Deputy Commissioner.

Thanks to the relentless efforts of the Public Works Department and the National Highways Authority, the highway from Ramsila Bridge to Manali, including the stretch up to the Atal Rohtang Tunnel and Lahaul-Spiti, is now safe for travel.

This reopening is a significant boost for apple farmers in Kullu-Manali and Mandi, who had been struggling with transport issues during the peak harvest season.

Tourists, too, can now safely resume their journeys to these popular destinations.

The restored routes signal a much-needed recovery for the region's tourism sector, which has been hit hard by heavy rains and flooding.

Finally, travelers and farmers can breathe a sigh of relief as they hit the road again.
