National Highway Authority of India(NHAI has informed the district administration that a few cracks have noticed on the road and sought the closure of movement of heavy vehicles on this stretch in order to ensure the safety of the general public.
The district magistrate-cum Chairman of the district disaster management authority(DDMA), Sharma has exercised his power under the section 34 of the Disaster Management Act 2005 and ordered suspension of the movement of heavy vehicles including buses in both directions from Solan to Parmanoo with effect from 7:00 PM August 13.
The order has come into fact with an immediate fact.
