Solan, October 14 — Police have booked dentist Dr. Brijeshwar Kashyap, son of former BJP Lok Sabha MP Virender Kashyap, for allegedly raping a woman on the pretext of marriage.
According to Solan police, the woman filed a complaint alleging that the accused established physical relations with her after promising marriage.
She later discovered that he was already married, following which she approached the police.
The accused, who runs a dental clinic in Solan, has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Police said an investigation is underway.
