 SJVN  CMD Nand Lal Sharma said the  MoU aims to leverage SJVN's expertise in Technical Consultancy Services, focusing on reviewing slope protection works, particularly along the Parwanoo-Solan-Shimla section of NH-05 and the Kullu Manali Highway.

The collaboration also involves providing design review services, peer review services, and technical vetting of NHAI's designs, along with monitoring construction works and recommending quality control tests.

The consultancy service is slated to span an initial period of 24 months. SJVN Chairman and Managing Director, Nand Lal Sharma, emphasized that this collaboration will facilitate knowledge sharing, resource optimization, and synergy between the power and highway sectors, ultimately advancing infrastructure development.

The MoU was signed in the presence of NHAI Chairman Santosh Kumar Yadav and SJVN Director (Projects) Sushil Sharma in New Delhi.

The signing ceremony marked the commencement of a collaborative journey toward enhancing infrastructure development.
